Spinning

Out of control our estimate falls under the radar
The future turns black the sunlight drifts deep
Burying ideals: our freedom and democracy can not breathe
under the encroaching waters

The moon dances above us predicting madness
As we scythe through the meadows with metal arms
Pages of books flutter in the coriolis winds
What is left of our thoughts: sans eye casting

We debate entertainment seriously: all that is left
Is the murmur of dawn and the heat of the day
Keep us pupating under cover enacting our drama
before the winds remove the roof: expose skin to light

We predicted a metre encroaching but forgot to multiply
our hunger growing with growth, expanding with expansion
knowledge is not formed before the harsh lessons of experience
when we die we are not bathed in wisdom: we evaporate

The lessons of time lessens our mind
